Verdis was enlisted to design the landscape of the Kootenai Technical Education Campus. The campus is a partnership between Kootenai County school districts and local businesses/industry leaders to provide applied skill learning paths for technical careers (automotive/diesel technology, computer repair and networking, construction trades, health professional trades, engineering design and automation, welding and metal fabrication). Verdis worked closely with the project architect and engineer to design site storm water management, vehicular circulation, perimeter security, architectural monumentation and signage. Project design responsibilities included planting design and 2-wire, looped mainline irrigation system design to allow for future campus expansion.
