Verdis is the prime contractor and is self-performing design, project management, site superintendence, and construction services for the replacement of a new HDPE liner for Cell #4 of the sewage lagoon system at Bryce Canyon National Park. On-site work will include dewatering, sludge removal, clearing/grubbing, scarifying and compacting of the existing bentonite liner, and the installation of a new HDPE liner. The new liner will be approximately 3.5 acres in surface area. Permitting requirements include permitting through the Utah Department of Environmental Quality (UDEQ). Additional work will consist of removing and upgrading/replacing of the sewer lines and installation of new two-way cleanouts for the Mission 66 housing area.
