Lower Granite Slope Stabilization

US Army Corps of Engineers

Verdis was prime contractor for the Lower Granite Slope Stabilization consisting of preparing four exposed bedrock areas, approximately 1,600 square feet, located near the fish ladder. The areas were outfitted with approximately 160 grouted rebar dowels, welded wire mesh and then received shotcrete surface protection to prevent future erosion and damage to the fish ladder foundation. Verdis self-performed 100 percent of the contract with the exception to the shotcrete application, including project management, project superintendent, SSHO, Quality Control and all labor required to complete this project. Verdis was responsible for collecting, formatting, reviewing and submitting all project submittals to the Army Corps of Engineers using RMS 3.0.
