Cavanaugh House Update
US Army Corps of Engineers
Verdis was the prime contractor on this historic building renovation. The Cavanaugh House, originally known as the Lockkeeper’s House at the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, was built in the early 1900s and was the first completed structure at the Lake Washington Ship Canal. Verdis restored the entire main floor and created a new master suite. The work included kitchen renovations, doors and hardware, flooring re-finish and repair, window treatments, lighting, asbestos abatement and lead abatement.
